Lucy and Allie have been friends for over 15 years and are thrilled to be teaming up for this offering.

About Lucy

While studying dance in college, Lucy developed her yoga practice as a way to stay healthy – physically and mentally – and she has been in love with yoga ever since. She completed her 200-hour certification in 2015, and is pursuing her 500-hour certification, while continuing to teach yoga, dance, and perform professionally. She has a deep passion for anatomy and kinesiology, and is continually in awe of the beauty of the human body. Her goal is to help students create a nourishing and positive relationship with their bodies. Lucy taught on the very first day Samarasa Center opened its doors, and is ever-grateful for this community.

About Allie

Allie has spent over 10 years putting her passion for protecting the environment into practice. She has worked with a variety of environmental organizations and internship programs, including the Long Beach Office of Sustainability and the Alliance to Save Energy PowerSave program.

Allie most served as the Co-Executive Director at Grades of Green, a 501(c)3 nonprofit with the mission to inspire and empower students and the broader school community to care for the environment.
